Mock 2° - May 15
Hi guys,
This is to let you know we'll be starting the second mock next Monday on May 15 in order to fit in with the enrolling deadline for the June sessions - obviously for the ones who will get the passing score and feel confident enough to take the exam.
Work on the photocopies I gave you in class today and use the website https://writeandimprove.com to practice your writing, as this website gives you instant feedback on errors and level of your writing.
On Monday we'll start with the Writing test as it will give me enough time to correct it thoroughly.
In the previous post I linked the Cambrodge website where you can do some sample tests!

Unit 18 - emphasis
Hi guys,
For next time do ex. 1 Emphasis p. 55 from your Workbook, from your Students Book explore p. 172 about emphasis.
As Mock n°2 is soon approaching, do the online CB CAE sample from this link.
Here are some examples of ways of giving emphasis:

Here are some examples of ways of giving emphasis:
Cleft sentences with "it"
Cleft sentences with "what"
Inversion after negative/limiting adv.
I think that's quite enough so far. Obviously you're free to explore other videos on YouTube on inversions.
Bye for now
