Lesson 44°

Hi class,

As 3 of you already know, next time we'll start the Mock test with Reading and Use of English and as  it'll take about 3 lessons to complete, please make sure you don't miss the next few lessons.
Today we worked on Listening and Speaking. Here you can find the Advanced Handbook for you to familiarise with what is expected of you and work on the sample test you'll find in it.

The Speaking video we watched today is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nGESyDgmdw&t=1s - in the YouTube description you'll find a link to examiners comments and marks - so it's really useful!

Finally here's the video where you can learn how to disagree politely :)

Bye for now,

Silvia

Lesson 37°

Hi guys,

For next time work on ex. 1 and 2 p.97 and read the info from p. 171 (about infinitive) and from the Workbook do ex. 1, 2 and 3 p. 48 (The infinitive).

Also do some research on the internet about language (do exercises 1 and 2 p. 88) and research about strange languages around the world - for instance, the whistled language of La Gomera island. We'll discuss about all that next time.

Bye for now,

Silvia
